About Me

I'm Ariel, currently a full time student, housewife and proud mommy of two beautiful boys. I'm a former Sunni Muslim, married to my best friend, a Persian dude, who is a former Shi'a Muslim from Iran. We're both pretty goofy, but he's my hero.

I spend a lot of time in Bible study. Rightly dividing is very important to me as is studying to show myself approved. I'm also extremely passionate in defending the faith with sound doctrine. 

I'm a thinker, like to write and debate, can be cynical, skeptical, overly analytical and way too rational sometimes, but I've found these are useful, especially when it comes to study.

I am not a proponent in any way of "self esteem" or any other man-centered teachings popular today with teachers like Joel Osteen, Rob Bell and the Emergent Church, Beth Moore and all those like her including the Contemplative Prayer movement, Rick Warren and all seeker sensitive and purpose driven or anyone in the Word of Faith movement. I don't adhere to a certain denomination. I adhere only to scripture.

I cover a lot of area on this blog but I've tried to categorize everything to make it simpler to find.
